Multi-Activity Days or MADays are our way of enticing 13-16 year olds to want to continue to visit our Libraries and Learning Centres. They have busy lives and sometimes extra motivation is needed.
MADays focus on developing the young teenagers’ skills like problem solving, team work, a bit of a competitive spirit, gender equality and leadership.
Our Librarians take complete control – from planning, to organising, to overseeing, to evaluating.
“Some games I have never seen. They were confusing at first but now giving instructions to a blind [wearing a mask] person is easy.” Saidi from Kombani says.
Our Librarians facilitate the events and activities and help each other by sharing their expertise.
