Dedicated People, Life-Changing Work

Dedicated People, Life-Changing Work

Our work is powered by a passionate, dedicated teams across the UK and Kenya. Together, they ensure every project we deliver is meaningful, sustainable, and life-changing for the children and communities we serve.

Trustees (UK):
Provide governance, oversight, and strategic direction for the charity. They ensure that all programmes are aligned with our mission, financially responsible, and deliver meaningful, sustainable impact for the communities we serve.

Advisors (Kenya):
Offer local expertise and guidance to make sure programmes are culturally appropriate, relevant, and tailored to community needs. They help us design projects that are practical, impactful, and genuinely transformative for beneficiaries.

Together, our Trustees and Advisors ensure that every programme is desirable, suitable, sustainable, and timely.

Kenyan volunteers

UK Volunteers:
Play a vital role in supporting the delivery of our programmes, assisting with fundraising, and managing logistics. Their dedication helps ensure projects run smoothly, resources reach the communities that need them, and our impact continues to grow both in the UK and overseas.

Kenyan Volunteer Librarians:
Work directly within communities to distribute books, run library and learning programmes, and engage children and families. Their commitment ensures educational resources are used effectively, literacy and skills development are supported, and children have opportunities to thrive in safe, inclusive learning spaces.

Between them, our volunteers help get hundreds of thousands of books into the hands of millions of deserving children every year.
